Random ramblings of a symphony orchestra violinist who happens to be an Episcopalian who's not afraid of being called a liberal!

68 years ago today . . .
Orson Welles' radio brodcast, War of the Worlds, terrified our nation. Realizing they'd been fooled, Americans shook their radios furiously to punish the little men inside.
I'm originally from Barrington, Illinois -- a suburb about 35 miles northwest of Chicago. I've lived in Tulsa since 1980 -- I came here after graduating from Northwestern University to join the Tulsa Philahrmonic. Unfortunately, the orchestra folded in 2002. A new orchestra, Tulsa Symphony Orchestra (TS0), emerged in 2006. As of June 2006, I'm employed as an Executive Full Time Musician for TSO. I also enjoy cooking and spending time with my cat -- a funny little black cat named Phoebe.
